Launch of Microsoft Teams

The Microsoft Teams service has been enabled for all employees and students. The service is currently running in a limited mode, where users can freely chat with each other or make audio/video calls, but there are no teams available or the ability to create them. The teams will be created by the end of September. The Microsoft Teams client will be automatically installed on selected Windows 10 computers (managed in the AMU network). You can also log in to the Microsoft Teams web interface at teams.microsoft.com. Enter your full email address as the username, the password is the same as for the AMU computer network.

How to login to your school email?

You can log in using the Outlook on the web, either by link at mail.amu.cz or directly by outlook.office.com. Enter your full email address as the username, the password is the same as for the AMU computer network.

If you are an employee and have a company workstation with Windows 10 (managed in the AMU network), you will find Outlook installed on your computer, either on the desktop or in the Start menu. If you do not have the application on your computer yet, contact us via helpdesk.amu.cz or contact your local administrator.

Outlook (within the Office 365 office suite) is also be available to all students and full-time employees for download to private PC or MAC devices from the office.com portal - after logging in with your entire email address and the same password as in AMU computer network.

You can also log in to your school email account through the Outlook mobile app, which you can download from your app store, or by adding your school account to another email client that supports EWS or ActiveSync — usually referred to in clients as an Exchange or Office 365 connection.

Migration to Microsoft 365

Dear colleagues, teachers and students,

at AMU, this year we are moving to Microsoft 365 services (formerly Office 365), which brings the latest team collaboration features in one environment. The migration thus affects many currently used services, such as mailboxes, network or shared files, and others that will undergo important changes as a result of the migration.

Please be observant to this matter, follow the news on this website and pay special attention to emails, in which we will also inform you about the current status and progress of the migration. This will make it easier for you to get familiar with the new services and their use.
